| Northern Cave Crater
A barren tundra-like area that was once the site of Jenova's crash-landing on the Earth. This is where Sephiroth was finally defeated and where the remnants of Jenova rest.

A more transient village you couldn't imagine, the Bone Village houses mainly archeologists and the odd merchant. What great anthropological discovery awaits the patient seeker? Only time will tell.

The sprawling metropolis and largest city in the world, Midgar was nearly destroyed by Meteor recently. Once controlled by Shinra Corporations, the place has recently been taken over by Avalanche and is slowly recovering.

Here you can hire a chocobo, stable your own chocobos, or buy special items for the care of chocobos. In fact, the only chocobo-related thing you can't buy here are chocobo stakes. You have to go to Wutai.

The Fort and mountain dedicated the the preservation of the Condor, an endangered species with unknown powers. Though little is known about the giant birds, even less can be said about the fanatical environmentalists who staff the place.

| North Corel
Hometown of Barret and his foster daughter Marlene. Once a thriving coal town, it was driven under by the increasing popularity of Mako energy and then nearly destroyed in a reactor meltdown. It may yet return to it's former glory though...

A famous resort town, there is little in Costa del Sol that isn't for sale. Good for vacations and tanlines, you simply can't take life too seriously when you're this close to the sand and surf.

| Nibelheim
Hometown of Cloud and Tifa, not that they'd admit it. Nibelheim is the site of a massive Shinra cover-up. Most of the inhabitants are actors hired to mask the fact that the town was once destroyed by Sephiroth. It boasts an abandoned Mako Reactor and a large abandoned Mansion full of secrets and monsters.

| Cosmo Canyon
The brightly colored stone of Nanaki's home is comforting to those familiar with the area, but to outsiders the blood hued canyon can seem very unwelcoming. That view is only enhanced by the fierce warriors and their deadly guardian. Salesmen are most definitely not welcome.
